Essay Writing Competition

APSA in collaboration with AGRA CITY REDCO organized an essay writing competition for the sutdents of classes III to XII in the month of April . In this online activity, students had to write an essay in English/Hindi. This competition took place in order to encourage the spirit of unity and hope amidst Covid-19, global health crisis. Students of our school showcased a remarkable performance in this competition and won the prizes.

BAL KAVI SAMMELAN

On 2nd Sep,2020, an online Interschool Bal Kavi Sammelan  was held in Prelude Public School,Agra.
In this competition, Students were asked to recite self-composed Poems. Studens of our school performed very well in this competition.

This online competition was orgainazed by Air Force School, Agra on 10th and 11th Nov,2020 in which students showcased their talent in various activities and won several prizes.

BRICSMATH

It is  an international online math Competition   that brings together children from seven countries. This competition was held in the months of Nov and Dec. In this online competition, students were asked to do several tasks in .The main goal of the competition was to develop students’ logic skills, broaden their minds and help them understand some basic concepts of Math that they can apply in real life .Students of  our School  from class  1 to 12 of  participated with full enthusiasm and made us proud by winning various tasks in two rounds.

Uttar Pradesh Birds Festival

On 02nd Feb, 2021, a birds festival was organized by the Forest Department, Uttar Pradesh in association with the Taj Photographers Club at Taj Nature Walk on the occsion of Wetland Day. Students    performed extremely well  in painting and essay writing competitions at Taj Nature Walk . They were awarded with cash prize and certificates.

Outstanding Achievements 

MICRO INNOVATION AWARD

NISA organized “Micro Innovation Award Contest” a national-level contest for schools to identify, encourage and celebrate the numerous micro solutions and innovation that Budget private schools are implementing towards transforming themselves and offering quality education. Teachers of Colonel's Brightland worked very hard and prepared the Project on the topic,  "ENHANCING CORE COMPETENCES OF STUDENTS". School secured 1st rank in Northern Region and 4th rank in India.



EduChoice

The Centre for Civil Society and National Independent School Alliance (NISA), in partnership with nationwide school alliances, presented a national Gamification activity to popularize the voice of budget private schools through social media platforms. This competition was held between 25 Dec, 2020 & 20 Jan, 2021. Teachers and students from private school all over the country were invited to prepare a one minute video expressing their views on  the theme:-
For Students: Why do I love my School?
                          Why do l love my teachers?
For Teachers: Why do l love my Students?
                          Why do I love my School?
Videos were to be uploaded on social media.
The teachers and students of Colonel's Brightland participated with full zeal & fervor. Princy Sharma, Student of class VII made our School proud by getting 1st rank in this competition.

Summer Camp

Summer camp is a great initiative taken up mostly by schools to help students to make optimum use of their holidays by learning and mastering in entirely new skills. This is the only way through which students can explore their potential and passion for certain activities and simultaneously widen their horizons. To enhance these skills, Colonel's Brightland Public School conducted  'Online Summer Camp' from 25th May to 10th June,2021.It included a wide range of activities such as Storytelling in English and Hindi, Personality Development, Cooking  Without Fire, Science Quiz, Math Riddles, Dance, Singing, Music, Art & Craft Activities, Drawing, Yoga, etc. Many videos imparting moral values and art of storytelling were sent to the students by the teachers. Videos on Personally Development boosted up the confidence of the students. Cooking   without fire which was conducted with a view to create awareness about a nutritional value of food. Art and Craft activities made the students more creative, imaginative and artistic. Communication based videos enhanced vocabulary and communicational skills of the students. Through this camp, the students learnt many skills and enhanced their talents. The combined and enthusiastic efforts of the students and teachers made this Online Summer Camp, a great success.
