ONLINE CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES SESSION 2020-2021 (PRIMARY SECTION)
09th May, 2020	Mother’s Day	"To the world, she is a mother, but to a family, she is a world." Henry Ward Beeacher Mothers are the backbone of the families & have the magic touch to make all things beautiful. Mother's Day is a special day for all children & mothers as it celebrates the bond of love & affection that is everlasting. Students of primary classes recited poems for their mothers and classwise winners for the same were selected. Laibah Fatima of class I, Ananya Tomar of class II, Ayush Sikarwar of class III, Ratandeep Singh of class IV & Abhavya of class V were the winners of their classes.
5th June, 2020	World Environment Day	World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 every year to mark the importance of nature & environment. The main aim of the celebration is to encourage worldwide awareness & action to protect our environment. The theme for the World Environment Day-2020 for primary classes was ' water conservation'. Students took keen interest & prepared beautiful posters on the theme 'Save Water' on this occasion.
15th August, 2020	Independence Day	15th Aug, 2020, the auspicious day which marked the 74th Independence Day was celebrated. Students of classes I to III prepared creative posters & students of classes IV & V prepared collage on the theme "Freedom Fighters."
5th September, 2020	Teacher's Day	On 5th of Sept, the day of the teachers, the students prepared greeting cards & short videos of dance, singing, etc. for their teachers as a token of gratitude.
14th November, 2020	Children’s Day	Children's Day was celebrated online through Zoom App and classwise various activities were conducted. A short video for entertaining their students was also prepared by the teachers.
7th Dec to - 12th Dec, 2020	Fit India Movement	Fit India Week was conducted virtually between 7^th Dec & 20^th Dec 2020. Many physical & brain storming activities were held under this program. Students prepared posters on the theme 'Hum Fit to India Fit' & wrote essays to spread awareness about fitness. They actively participated in quiz related to fitness & performed yoga virtually under the guidance of teachers.
24th December, 2020	Christmas Celebration	Christmas was celebrated with fervour & zeal by the students.They danced and sang melodious songs . A small picture based quiz was also held. The Significance of this festival was explained by the teachers to the students .
31st December, 2020	New Year Celebration	Students were asked to make a new year resolution and joyfull activities were conducted to celebrate New Year.
14th January, 2021	Makar Sankranti	Children were asked to make or decorate kites with the material available at their home. They were asked to either compose poem or to make a short video of dance in which they have to use kite as a prop.
26th January, 2021	Bal Sabha on Republic Day	An online Bal sabha was organized on the occasion of Republic Day. Students showcased their talent in the following activities- • Poem Recitation (Hindi & English) • Speech (Hindi & English) • Quiz on patriotism • Freedom fighter names in alphabetical order(A-Z) • Fancy Dress on patriotic theme.
N.B :- In addition to above mentioned activities subjects based activities were also conducted by the teachers.
